As the rain continues to fall here in British Columbia, I wistfully return to Arizona for this episode of SkyWatch Friday. Last March, I traveled to Arizona with a pair of naturalists for a week of birding and botanizing. One of the locations that we wanted to hit was Cochise Lake, just outside of Wilcox, Arizona. We arrived late in the day after hiking in the Chiricahuas and were able to do some birdwatching as the sun went down.

Beautiful warm Arizona skies, but I did capture a nice sunrise here in BC between the waves of storms. I invite you to come see. – Margy

These are absolutely gorgeous! I love the interesting formation of the clouds in the first one and the sky is just beautiful in all of them!
Beautiful shots, I love all of them!
Come and peek when the sun sets in Land of the Morning Calm
Looks wonderful there. Nice shots!
Thanks for all the positive comments folks – I’ll pop over to take a look at your SkyWatch images this weekend!
Love the last shot of the setting sun especially!
Wonderful series. I prefer the last one, the person in it adds a little something.
That first photo makes me swoon! What a surprise to see that horizon.
