This week we had a brief respite from the monotonous grey sky and rain that characterizes a typical coastal British Columbia winter. However, the blue skies did not last long and I captured this series of images as a major front moved in. I loved how dramatic these clouds were – enjoy!

Nice progression…lovely images!
Heavenly photos, these are fantastic.

Beautiful hopeful skies but you know the grey and rain will surely return. That’s what we got down the road from you.
Excellent shots. MB
Very neat clouds! Great prespective and composition
Beautiful composition!
My contribution is the incredible sky of Quebec City, hope you like it too
Thanks for the kind comments everyone – it’s always exciting when we get a break in the grey clouds here in BC in the fall/winter time. Thanks for stopping in!
Very dramatic, indeed. I like the sharp, clear blue in contrast to the soft clouds.
