MacKenzie Beach, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. This little cove near @middlebeachlodge is separated from the main part of MacKenzie Beach at high tide (although there is a "high tide trail" that will get you to the main beach). After photographing the waves breaking over the rocky shore, I noticed the water flowing around some isolated rocks on the small sandy beach. A slow shutter speed helped capture the serenity of the location. MacKenzie Beach near Tofino, British Columbia. High tide and a limited access point into this small cove at the end of Mackenzie Beach made this a challenging location to photograph. Some good potential here with interesting rock formations. Still, it has a west coast vibe and a more dramatic sunset might have been epic.
