Together with her husband Brad, Lisa learned to SCUBA dive in 2001 and was immediately crazy about it. Before she had logged more dives than fingers on one hand she brought a disposable waterproof camera on a dive, pushing it way past its recommended depth of 10 feet - all the way to 50. Luckily, it survived and one photo turned out. That was all it took - she was totally hooked. She had discovered a passion that has spilled over into new and exciting areas. Her interest in fashion and lifestyle photography on land has slipped into the underwater realm where few photographers venture. Her underwater people portraits offer a surreal touch to everyday elements and she is often heard thinking out loud “I wonder how that would look in the pool?” Be it on land or in water Lisa is dedicated to capturing moments for her clients that they will keep for a lifetime. She takes time to get to know the person a bit before a session and quickly puts them at ease. Lisa was born in Calgary, Alberta. Since then the hospital she was born in has been blown up, the high school she attended torn down and parking meters have been installed at her favorite dive site in Vancouver. She enjoys hard core travel and now lives on Vancouver Island with her supportive husband in a teeny, tiny apartment on a hill.
