My apologies for not posting regularly this week – I’ve been fighting a particularly nasty stomach bug and have been spending most of my time in the bathroom or in bed (that’s all the information that you need, or probably want, to know.) Hopefully I’ll be back up to speed in this coming week.
In the meantime, feel free to browse through some of the older posts on my blog as I’m sure you’ll find something interesting to read. I’ve got a few topics on the front burner for upcoming posts including a review of Dennis Paulson’s book Dragonflies of the West (let’s just say that it is a fantastic field guide!) and a review of Identifying Land Snails and Slugs in Canada (and if you don’t want to wait for that, you can get this book free from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency). Salmon are running in our local streams and when I feel up to it I’ll venture out to see what I can find! I was planning on doing a post on 10.10.10 but definitely don’t feel up to it – hopefully some of you got out to local events. This year’s Blog Action Day is coming up on October 15th with a theme of water this year and I think that I’ll be writing about that when Friday rolls around.
Thanks for stopping in!
