Cochise Lake Birdwatching – Arizona Skywatch #6

As the rain continues to fall here in British Columbia, I wistfully return to Arizona for this episode of SkyWatch Friday. Last March, I traveled to Arizona with a pair of naturalists for a week of birding and botanizing. One of the locations that we wanted to hit was Cochise Lake, just outside of Wilcox, Arizona. We arrived late in the day after hiking in the Chiricahuas and were able to do some birdwatching as the sun went down.

  1. Beautiful warm Arizona skies, but I did capture a nice sunrise here in BC between the waves of storms. I invite you to come see. – Margy

  2. These are absolutely gorgeous! I love the interesting formation of the clouds in the first one and the sky is just beautiful in all of them!

  3. Thanks for all the positive comments folks – I’ll pop over to take a look at your SkyWatch images this weekend!
